Privacy
What this website does with information.
Insurance involves sensitive information, so this site is built to collect as little of it as possible. This page describes the website specifically.
This website does not run analytics or advertising trackers
No third-party analytics, advertising or social tracking scripts are loaded by these pages. No cookies are set by this site for tracking purposes.
Web fonts are loaded from Google Fonts, which means your browser makes a request to that service in order to download the typefaces. That request is handled under Google's own terms.
The enquiry form does not transmit anything to us
The enquiry form assembles what you type into a draft email in your own mail application, addressed to advice@aldergate.example. It is not submitted to a server, and nothing reaches us until you press send in your own email client.
This is a deliberate choice. It means the site holds no database of enquiries and no submissions sit in transit.
What not to send us
Please keep enquiries to the outline of the risk. In particular, do not send the following by email or through the form:
- National insurance, social security or tax identification numbers
- Driving licence, passport or other identity document numbers or scans
- Bank account, card or payment details
- Medical records, diagnoses or treatment history
- Photographs, reports or other evidence relating to a claim, unless we have asked for them and told you how to send them
Information you do send us
When you email us, we hold that message and any reply in order to respond to your enquiry and, where you become a client, to arrange and service your insurance. Where a risk is presented to insurers, the information you have given us is shared with those insurers so that they can consider it.
We do not sell information, and we do not pass it to third parties for marketing.
Security claims we do not make
We do not claim any certification, standard or accreditation on this website. Where a security or compliance question matters to your decision, ask us and we will answer it specifically rather than in marketing language.
Questions and requests
Write to advice@aldergate.example with any question about information we hold, including a request to see it or to have it deleted, and we will respond.
